Synopsis: Prataprai lived on in the blind belief that once a mill owner always a mill owner. Though his father’s once prosperous textile business had passed out of the family’s hands, he lived on, in the style and manner of a rich man. His lavish expenses were financed by the IOUs he wrote out generously.
The façade was maintained and the farce went on till his son in defiance of his father’s wishes marries and bring home a poor girl as his wife.
